  • What do the colors mean on the Progress bars?
The progress bars have three colors: Yellowgreen (Learning stage) : Before you reach 100% learned in the content.  Green (Completed stage) : When you reach 100% learned.  Yellow (Review stage) : After you've reached 100% learned content, the progress goes down according to the SRS algorithm. At that time we show the yellow color so that you make it green again by reviewing it and reaching 100% again. You can do this by visiting the Ready for Review section regularly. WhenFew readers

  • How long will it take me to master a word or phrase?
It's an ongoing process, and it also depends on how accurately you answer the questions in the Ready for Review section. For example, some words will appear more frequently and some will not appear at all if you get them correct all of the time. I think that is a lot of the power of just leaving it up to FluentU. It will automatically adjust so that you can review words efficiently without having to spend so much time managing your learning. If you visit the Ready for Review sectiFew readers
  • Why do the video notes tell me I've already learned a percentage of the words?
You are probably an Intermediate level or above. When you choose an upper level of study, the program assumes you already know all the vocabulary in the lower levels. This is the percentage it will show as "already learned". You can change your language level as much as you like. This gives you the flexibility to learn at your own pace.Few readers

  • Why do my students' progress bars change color over time—even after reaching 100%?
Any yellow progress bar can be treated as 100% complete—it reflects the same level of achievement as a fully green progress bar. The yellow color is a helpful reminder, not a sign of regression. Students can easily bring the progress back to green (100%) by reviewing the material in the “Ready for Review” section. Here’s how the color system works in detail: Yellowgreen (Learning stage): This appears while students are still learning the content and have not yet reached 100% mastery.Few readers
