How do I set up the Korean keyboard on my Android device?
NOTE: All the names for menus and the locations might be slightly different depending on the devices.
- Install Gboard on your Android phone or tablet.
- Open an app where you can type.
- Tap where you can enter text.
- At the top of your keyboard, tap the Open features menu
- Tap More
- Settings
- Tap Languages

- Choose “Korean”.
- Choose the layout you prefer.
- Tap Done.
If you're using a Samsung device specifically, here's how to set up the Korean Samsung keyboard:
- Open the settings menu of your phone
- Go to General management
- Tap Language and input
4.Check that your default keyboard is Samsung keyboard
- Tap On-screen keyboard
- Tap Samsung Keyboard
- Tab Languages and types
- Tap Manage input languages
- Turn 한국어 (Korean) on
- You can now switch to the Korean keyboard by tapping this symbol on your keyboard
